The cost to build your Shed House will vary depending on several factors, including your location, site conditions, trade availability, build type (Registered Builder vs. Owner Builder), and the level of interior and exterior finishes you choose.
A registered builder takes the stress out of your project. They manage trades, schedules, and compliance for a smooth build. With a trusted trade base, quality control, and warranties, they help prevent costly mistakes and delays. Shed House Kits integrate seamlessly into a builder’s workflow with construction-ready documentation, and where available, we can connect you with our network of trusted builders.
As an Owner Builder, you manage permits, trades, and compliance. This gives you full control of your dream home. Many choose this path to save 30–40% versus a registered builder or to stay involved in every detail. Our Kits include working drawings, assembly guides, and a 3D model to support you and your team. Where available, we can connect you with our network of Kit Assembly contractors.

Sustainability
Sustainability is a key pillar of our business and part of our ongoing journey. We aim to minimise both embodied and operational carbon in our homes. Our FutureFrame™ system reduces embodied carbon through the use of BlueScope cold-rolled steel and Colorbond® claddings, both manufactured with approximately 25% recycled steel. Like a Meccano set, each framing member is precision-cut to exact lengths and pre-punched, eliminating the need for on-site cutting and significantly reducing construction waste during the framing phase.
Operational carbon is minimised through our commitment to designing all-electric, 7-star homes. This approach not only benefits the environment but also delivers tangible advantages to homeowners and occupants by reducing cost-of-living pressures through high-efficiency appliances and solar systems.
